The story
Nadia runs a 900-piece boutique on Shopify. Her buying is excellent and her photography is beautiful. Her product titles come straight from her supplier line sheets: style codes, colourways, season references. Internally they are perfectly clear. On Google they match nothing at all.
Her traffic is almost entirely Instagram and paid social. Organic search brings in her brand name and very little else, because the phrases her buyers use — "linen midi dress with pockets", "wedding guest dress with sleeves" — appear nowhere in her titles, descriptions or alt text. Every season she adds two hundred products and the gap widens.
The fix was not a rebrand. It was giving every garment a description that names the fabric, the fit, the occasion and the care, alt text on every photograph, and FAQ schema answering the sizing question her customer service team answers forty times a day.
