The story
Peter runs a garden and outdoor living store with a big seasonal swing — most of the year's revenue arrives in about ten weeks. His catalog is precise in the way nurseries are precise: Latin names, pot sizes, supplier codes.
His customers search in conditions and projects. Hardiness zone. Soil type. Sun exposure. What to plant along a fence, what survives a north-facing balcony, what to do about clay. Almost none of that vocabulary existed on his product pages.
Adding condition language to descriptions, building project-led collection pages, and publishing planting and care questions as FAQ schema changed the shape of his season — mostly because the work was finished in January rather than in April.
