Method 1: Remove Powered by Shopify Badge From Theme Settings 

First, you have to navigate to your Shopify admin dashboard Online Store → Themes.

Afterward, click on your current theme that you want to edit, and select the right top Actions > Edit languages.

Now, in the search pane type the keyword ‘powered’. You can now see the Powered by Shopify option in the ‘Links’ section below. 

Just press the spacebar on your keyboard to type a single space, and the default ‘Powered by Shopify’ badge will be deleted automatically as shown. You can repeat this step for the next ‘Powered by Shopify HTML’ box on the Password page. Make sure to delete the following code: <small class=””site-footer__copyright-content” site-footer__copyright-content–powered-by”=””>{{ powered_by_link }}</small>.

This will depend on the theme that you are using. So when you are searching you may have more than one place to delete. So if you use non-sectioned themes, then your code can be different but should come up with this {{ powered_by_link }} code.

Once you have made all the changes to remove the powered Shopify Badge, all you have to do is to hit the ‘Save’ button in the upper right-hand corner. And that’s it! You’ve successfully deleted Powered by Shopify from your eCommerce store. 

As for different Shopify themes, the process may slightly be different and if you switch to any new theme you have to repeat all the above steps and ensure that the ‘powered by Shopify badge’ has been removed.
