Before you start, make sure you have created a product list inside your Shopify-winkel En installed StoreSEO in your store. Then, follow these step-by-step guidelines to find out how to add meta descriptions to your Shopify products.  

Step 1: Go To StoreSEO Product List  #

Ga naar de 'Toepassingen' optie van uw dashboard en selecteer de 'WinkelSEO' app. Now, click on the ‘Optimaliseer SEO' tabblad van het zijpaneel en kies 'Producten', waar al uw Shopify-producten met details worden weergegeven.

To add meta description to the product of your choice, click on the 'Problemen oplossen' button from the product details under ‘Actions’ next to that product.

Step 2: Add Meta Description To Shopify Products #

You can now write your meta description for your Shopify product that describes the product well and increases your click-through rate. In the ‘Meta Description’ box, write a short description for your product in 120 -165 characters (150+ characters for best practice) and click on the 'Redden' button to save your progress or change. 

Afterwards, you will see the change in your SEO score immediately.
