The story
Rob supplies packaging and shipping materials. Every product he sells is defined by a measurement and a quantity, and almost every product in his catalog is named something like "Cardboard Box (Medium)".
His buyers search exact internal dimensions, a wall grade and a pack quantity, and increasingly a sustainability qualifier — recyclable, compostable, certified. These are unambiguous queries with unambiguous answers, and his product names answered none of them.
Putting dimensions, grade, quantity and sustainability credentials into titles and descriptions, and building dimension-led collections, turned a catalog of vague sizes into thousands of exact-match pages for a category that reorders forever.
