The story
Mei runs a bakery with local delivery and nationwide shipping on a few products. Her site is a gorgeous gallery of cakes with a contact form, which is to say it is invisible to every search her customers make.
Those searches carry four constraints at once: an occasion, a dietary requirement, a city and a date. Her delivery areas were listed on a policy page, her lead times were mentioned in an FAQ nobody linked to, and her dietary variants existed but were never named on the product.
Putting the delivery area, the lead time and the dietary options into the product pages themselves, adding local business schema, and publishing the ordering questions as FAQ schema turned a portfolio site into something that answers a Thursday-night search for a Saturday cake.
