The story
Yusuf runs a niche fragrance house. Every product has a beautiful name and a paragraph of evocative copy about dusk and cardamom and memory. It reads wonderfully and it is invisible, because fragrance searches are made of notes, families, seasons and comparisons.
His buyers are buying blind. They search for a woody vanilla with good longevity, or something in a particular family, or something similar to a famous scent they cannot afford. They need a note pyramid, a family classification, longevity and sillage — the concrete vocabulary of the category.
Publishing the note structure as text, answering longevity and layering questions as FAQ schema, and generating snippets turned the poetry into something a search engine and an assistant could both work with. The poetry stayed; it just stopped being the only thing on the page.
