Displaying FAQs on your storefront with the customization feature allows you to showcase product-specific questions and answers directly on your Shopify product pages. Once you create FAQs for your products in StoreSEO, they are presented in a clean, well-organized section that is easily visible to customers. This helps shoppers find the information they need quickly, make confident purchase decisions, and reduces the need to contact support.
This documentation walks you through every step to show FAQs on your storefront, from the StoreSEO Dashboard all the way to your live storefront.
Step 1: Activate the Product FAQs Block from Dashboard #
To get started, open the Aplicativo StoreSEO from your Shopify admin. Once inside, navigate to the Dashboard and scroll down to the Integrations & Tracking section. Here you will find a card labeled Product FAQs Block.
Clique no Activate button on this card. This action registers the StoreSEO FAQ block with your Shopify theme, making it available for you to add to any product page template. You will not see FAQs on your store until this step is completed.

Step 2: Open the Shopify Theme Editor and Locate Your Product Page #
After activating the block, inside the Theme Editor, use the page selector at the top to navigate to a product page. At this stage, if no FAQ block has been added yet, you will see a message in the product page preview that reads “No FAQs to Display”, “You need to add FAQs for this product to display in the storefront.” This is expected and confirms that the block needs to be added to the template, Click on the Generate FAQ botão.

To continue, click ‘Ok’ on the popup notification. This is necessary because the link will launch in a separate window, and granting permission is required for the process to move forward.

Step 3: Add the StoreSEO Product FAQs Block to Your Product Page #
In the left-hand panel of the Theme Editor, scroll down to the Aplicativos section, which is located near the bottom of the template sections list. Click Add block and from the list of available blocks, select StoreSEO Product FAQs.
Once added, the block will appear in the left panel under Apps, and the product page preview in the center will immediately display a “Perguntas frequentes” section with the FAQ questions and answers that were created for that product in StoreSEO. If no FAQs have been added to the product yet in StoreSEO, the section will remain empty. Make sure to create FAQs under the “Esquema de FAQ” tab of the product inside the StoreSEO app first.

Step 4: Verify Your FAQs Are Displaying on the Storefront #
Once the StoreSEO Product FAQs block has been successfully added to your product page template, you will see the Perguntas frequentes section appear in the live preview of the Theme Editor, highlighted with a blue border.
The section will show all FAQ questions associated with the selected product, confirming that the block is working correctly. At this point, click the “Salvar” button at the top right of the Theme Editor to publish the changes to your live store. Your customers will now be able to see the FAQs section directly on the product page every time they visit.

Step 5: Customize the FAQ Display (Optional) #
With the FAQ block selected in the left panel, the right-hand side of the Theme Editor displays a range of styling and layout options that allow you to tailor the appearance of the FAQ section to match your store’s branding. The “Layout” setting lets you choose between “Accordion“, “List“, or “Plain list” display formats. The Accordion layout is recommended for stores with many FAQs, as it keeps the page clean and lets customers expand only the questions they are interested in.

You can also toggle “Expand first item by default” to have the first FAQ open automatically when the page loads and choose between a Plus ou Arrow icon as the trigger icon. Under the Heading section, you can edit the section title and adjust its alignment, font size, color, and heading tag (H2 or H3). The Questions e Answers settings allow you to control the font size, font weight, and color for the question and answer text, respectively. When you are satisfied with the styling, click Salvar to apply all changes.
Important Tips and Troubleshooting on How to Show FAQs on Your Storefront #
If the FAQ section is not appearing on your product page after following the steps above, the most common reason is that FAQs have not yet been created for that product inside StoreSEO. To resolve this, go back to the Aplicativo StoreSEO, open the relevant product, navigate to the Esquema de FAQ tab, and create your FAQ questions and answers there before returning to the Theme Editor.
It is also important to note that the StoreSEO Product FAQs block is added to a product page template, which means it will apply to all products that use that template. Each product will display its own unique set of FAQs as long as those FAQs are created individually within StoreSEO. If a product has no FAQs assigned, the block will remain empty for that product even though the block exists in the template.
If you see a popup saying “Override recent theme customizations” when saving, click “Override and save changes” to confirm and apply your latest settings. This message may appear if another user or session made changes to the theme editor around the same time.
