Antigravity Search Console and Analytics reports

Read Search Console and Analytics with Antigravity

Reading Search Console and Analytics with Antigravity means asking Google's agentic coding product, from its IDE side panel, for your store's clicks, queries, pages and traffic sources, which StoreSEO reads from your connected Google Search Console and GA4 property.

Set up Antigravity for StoreSEO

Skip this if Antigravity is already connected. The full guide, with the alternatives, is on the Antigravity page.

  1. 1

    Add StoreSEO in View raw config

    In the Antigravity IDE open the menu in the agent side panel, choose MCP Servers, then Manage MCP Servers, then View raw config. Paste this into mcp_config.json and save. The field is serverUrl: Antigravity does not support url or httpUrl for remote servers.

    JSON
    {
      "mcpServers": {
        "storeseo": {
          "serverUrl": "https://mcp.storeseo.com/mcp"
        }
      }
    }
  2. 2

    Sign in, then check the connection

    Open Agent settings (Cmd+, on Mac, Ctrl+, on Windows and Linux), go to Customizations and click Authenticate next to storeseo. Pick your Shopify store and approve in the browser, copy the authorization code it shows, paste it into the settings panel and click Submit. Then ask this in the agent panel.

    Prompt
    Use StoreSEO to show me my store's SEO score breakdown.

How does this work in Antigravity?

You are in the Antigravity IDE with the agent side panel open and storeseo listed under MCP servers. Once Authenticate has finished and you have pasted the authorization code back into Agent settings, you ask for what you want to know, for example which pages earn the most Google clicks and how that changed since the previous period. The agent calls storeseo_start, then storeseo_get_search_console_insights with the page dimension, and returns the ranked rows, the totals and the per-metric change against the previous period of equal length.

For visitor behavior the agent calls storeseo_get_analytics_report, choosing among search_traffic, user_activity, demographics, page_performance, traffic_source and key_events. Because Antigravity plans multi-step work, a broader request such as review my Google performance and propose where to look first can turn into several reads in a row: a Search Console query list, a page list and a GA4 channel report. The two StoreSEO tools do not write anything, so the plan is a sequence of lookups, and you read the result in the panel while your theme files sit in the editor.

Antigravity runs MCP tools you have not configured in Ask mode by default, so expect an approval request before each call until you add a policy. Policy patterns of the form mcp(server/tool) let you allow specific tools, so mcp(storeseo/storeseo_get_search_console_insights) and mcp(storeseo/storeseo_get_analytics_report) are a sensible pair for a reporting habit. Leave the write tools in Ask mode, so a later step such as new meta for a page with a weak click-through rate still stops at Antigravity's prompt and at StoreSEO's own request for your yes.

  1. You: Which of my pages get the most Google clicks, and how is that changing?

  2. storeseo_start read-only
  3. storeseo_get_search_console_insights read-only
  4. Antigravity: The Linen Shirt page leads, followed by the Summer Dresses collection. Clicks are up against the previous 28 days on both. Should I also read GA4 page performance for these pages?

  5. You: Yes, go ahead.

  6. storeseo_get_analytics_report read-only
  7. Antigravity: Both pages also lead in GA4 active users. The shipping policy page has impressions but few visits, so it may be worth a look.

What to ask Antigravity

Prompt 1
Use StoreSEO to show Search Console clicks, impressions, CTR and position by query for the last 28 days, top 20, with the previous-period change.
Prompt 2
Which countries and devices send my Google clicks? Show both breakdowns and call out the biggest difference.
Prompt 3
Pull GA4 page_performance for last month and list the five pages with the most active users.
  • Which queries brought the most clicks from Google in the last 28 days, and how does that compare with the month before?
  • Which product pages have high impressions but a CTR under two percent?
  • Show organic search traffic from GA4 for the last three months.
  • Which countries send the most visitors, and on which devices?
  • Which traffic sources led to purchases last month?

What StoreSEO does: search console and analytics reports

StoreSEO connects to your Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4 property. The agent reads Search Console performance by date, query, page, country, device or search appearance, and curated GA4 reports, each compared with the previous period by default.

Requires: A paid StoreSEO plan with Google connected in the app, and a GA4 property selected for Analytics reports.

  1. 1

    Pick the question

    Search Console answers how you appear in Google: clicks, impressions, CTR and average position. GA4 answers what visitors do: users, engagement, pages, sources and key events.

  2. 2

    Read the report

    The agent reads the last 28 days by default, or the range you name, broken down by the dimension that fits the question.

  3. 3

    Compare periods

    Both reports include the previous period of the same length and the change per metric unless you ask otherwise.

  4. 4

    Turn it into actions

    The agent can link what it finds to the other jobs, for example pages with impressions but a low CTR are candidates for new meta.

Rules Antigravity follows

  • Both tools are reads and run straight away.
  • Connecting Google or choosing the GA4 property is done in the StoreSEO app; the agent hands you the link when it is missing.
  • Numbers are reported as Google returns them; the agent does not project outcomes from them.

In Antigravity

The field is serverUrl. Antigravity's documentation says legacy fields such as url or httpUrl are not supported, so an entry copied from another client will not connect until you rename the field, and the two report tools will not show up. The sign-in also ends with a code you paste back into Agent settings, under Customizations, so finish it in the same window you started in. If you add a policy that allows mcp(storeseo/*), Antigravity stops asking for every StoreSEO tool, writes included.

What runs without asking. Reads such as SEO scores, store listings, settings and Google reports run straight away. Generating a preview spends AI credit but writes nothing, and StoreSEO tells the agent to say what a generation will cost before it runs one. Applying content, optimizing images, changing settings, publishing llms.txt or agents.md, writing a product description and deleting anything wait for your yes in the conversation. That yes is an instruction the agent follows, not a lock on the server, so your client's own tool-approval setting is the hard stop.

Questions

Why does Antigravity ask me before each Search Console call?

MCP tools you have not configured run in Ask mode by default, which requires your approval before execution. You can allow the two report tools with policy patterns of the form mcp(server/tool) and leave the write tools in Ask mode.

Does Antigravity need to be signed in to Google for these reports?

No. StoreSEO reads the data using the Google connection you set up in the StoreSEO app, on a paid plan, with a GA4 property selected for Analytics. Antigravity only needs to authenticate to the StoreSEO server.

Can the agent connect my Google account?

No. Connecting Search Console and Google Analytics, and choosing the GA4 property, is done in the StoreSEO app. If Google is not connected, the tool returns a link telling you what to set up.

Can these reports change anything?

No. Both Google tools are read-only. They never connect, configure or write anything in Google or in your store.

Which plan includes Google reports over MCP?

A paid StoreSEO plan with Google connected. Analytics reports also need a GA4 property selected in the app.

How far back can the agent look?

You can name any date range the report supports. When you do not, both tools default to the last 28 days and compare it with the 28 days before.
