StoreSEO lets you enable Auto AI Optimization on Shopify for the AI Content Optimizer add-on. With this functionality, you do not have to manually enter the meta titles, meta descriptions & tags for your products. You can also configure this feature to automatically generate the image alt text.
Once enabled, this feature will help you optimize the SEO content and generate image alt text automatically when you add products to your store.
Follow this step-by-step guide to enable the Auto AI Optimization feature in your shop.
Note: The AI Auto Optimization feature is only available when you have unlocked an AI Content Optimizer credit bundle. Before going through the guidelines below, you need to add the AI Content Optimizer add-on by following this documentation.
Step 1: Navigate To Auto AI Optimization In Settings
From the StoreSEO app dashboard, navigate to the ‘View more’ → ‘Settings’ → ‘Auto AI Optimization’ option.
Step 2: Enable Auto AI Optimization On Your Store
Click on the ‘Turn on’ button to activate the Auto AI Optimization. Choose to enable content optimization for Meta Titles & Descriptions and Tags or both by default. Select the image type, Featured image or Product images, for which you want AI-generated image alt text. Afterward, click on the ‘Save’ button.
Note: Auto optimization for content and image alt text will be done automatically using AI based on your provided focus keywords.
StoreSEO will then start the AI auto optimization process. Now, in ‘Optimize SEO’ → ‘Products’, the optimized product will have the ‘AI Optimized’ icon on the right side.
