How To Optimize Shopify Pages With Store SEO?

You can easily optimize Shopify pages with Store SEO and thus help them rank better on search engines.

Before getting started, make sure that you have the Store SEO app installed on your Shopify store.

How To Optimize Shopify Pages For SEO? #

First, go to your Shopify store and open the Store SEO app inside it. From the Shopify Dashboard, go to Apps, find Store SEO from other apps if you’ve installed and select.

Now, go to the ‘Pages’ tab and select the page that you want to fix. Make sure to click on the ‘Sync Pages’ button at the top so that any new pages that you have added also show up on the list.

Resolve the SEO issues of the page according to the changes needed. Here on this page, we have a poor SEO score that we need to fix. Search engines analyze and evaluate your content and based on that, they give you the SEO ranking. So you have to optimize Shopify pages with Store SEO.

Step 1 : Set A Proper Focus Keyword #

Your keyword is an important factor here. So, you need to fix the keyword first. In the ‘Focus Keyword’ field, give the proper focus keyword that you used in your content.

Step 2: Give Meta Title And Meta Description #

Once you are done with the previous step, now give a meta title and a proper meta description in the relevant fields. Your meta title and meta description should contain the focus keyword.

After giving the title and meta title, the next step is to add proper tags for your content. Tags help in detecting your web pages easily. So adding proper tags is important. Click on ‘Save Changes’ after adding tags.

Step 3: Add Image Alt Tags In Your Images #

You need to add ‘image alt tags’ for the images you have added to your page. Go back to ‘Sales Channels’ → ‘Online Store’ → ‘Pages’. Now add image alt tags to all the images as it is shown below. Don’t forget to save the changes you made.

After you have completed the previous step, now go back to ‘Apps’ → ‘Store SEO’ → ‘Pages Tab’ → ‘Sync Pages’. Click on the page where you made the changes. You will see that your SEO score has improved if you have followed the detailed SEO instructions.

Thus, by fixing the SEO issues as directed above, you can easily optimize Shopify pages with Store SEO and make them rank higher in the search engine.
